About me

    Michael DeWeese is a NYC & LA based Illustrator/Storyboard Artist who has worked on various film, TV and music video projects, providing illustration concepts for spots directed by Spike Jonze, Steven Klein, Madonna, Jake Nava and Lady Gaga. (Yes, he likes to name drop.)
  
He has also storyboarded more commercials than he can recall, with clients often being Psyop, Imaginary Forces, Saatchi and Saatchi, 360 i, Huge Business Inc, Grey Advertising, Mother, Radical Media, Humble TV, and The Mill.  (Told ya.)
 
In 2012 Harper Collins published The Art of War, which Michael Illustrated.  He is currently working on Radco's graphic novel A Girl Walk's Home Alone at Night and preparing to launch Cartoon Sissy, a website that features his original comics, cartoons and short animated films. 
He studied Filmmaking and Animation at the North Carolina School of the Arts and has a 
BFA in Screenwriting. 
  
He would love to update this site with samples from everything he's done but knows there is simply too much chicken scratch to weed through, so his favorites and the stuff that looks the best will have to suffice.
